I have a follow-up question if I am allowed. The book recalls: “majority of the survivors felt it would be appropriate for the Rebbe to address the ceremony as the voice of the survivors, the secular Jews who represented various Zionist and socialist organizations refused to let him speak unless he promised that he would not mention G-d’s Name, or anything related to religion.” (p. 170-171).
I was wondering what these Zionist and socialist organaziations were that refused the Rebbe to let him speak about G-d and use G-ds name. Why would they not accept the Rebbe using G-ds name?
