It was somewhat understandable that people were concerned about vaccine safety during the emergency and were not able to balance great measurable benefits with way smaller potential side effects. If someone continues holding these way till now several years and billions of doses later, either they can point to specific medical work that supports their views or they are at total disbelief in anything that comes from official sources and prefer to believe Chinese and Russian online bots.
