kuvult- to be fair we pasken against the rambam in hashkafa, r’ ovadia yosef apparently would not count dardaim for a minyan, dardaim are yemenite jews who go fully after the rambam in every area and therefore do not believe in kabbala etc. (this does NOT mean the rambam himself would be considered such, rather once a shitah has been accepted by all of klal yisrael, one may not differ see zakein mamrei)
