I sympathize with the suffering of the boys,
which is the reason why I started this discussion.

But, in fairness to the yeshivah administrators:

What can they do, when most of their donors say
that they only want to donate to those yeshivahs
that are “the best of the best” or “the top 10%”?

If big donors would help all yeshivahs equally,
that might make it easier for yeshivah administrators
to accept average students.

But elitist donors force the yeshivah administrators
to practice elitist policies.
