Snopes.com is the website that you can go to in order to debunk or check up on the validity of a rumor. For example, there has always been an e-mail going around that a certain girl is sick and the American Cancer Society will donate money for every e-mail you forward. Snopes.com verifies what should be obvious – the ACS ACCEPTS donations – they do not give them. If you ever hear soemthing that sounds weird, just go to that site, type in the keyword in the search engine and it will tell you if it is a substantiated fact or a piece of fiction. JSnopes, is presumably Jewish Snopes (there is none, as far as I know – it was probably meant as a joke).
