just saw this- it says that after the beis hamikdash was destroyed the gates of tefillah were closed So why daven? the satmer rebbe answers the gates of tears r never closed so if u ry then your tefillos r answered. but not everyone can get so emotional and cry? The word bechi(cry-BEIS CHOF YuD) =32 gematria lev soif u daven from your heart its as if you cried and your tefillos will be answered
