Do you feel the Chinuch Roundtable which occasionally talks about children with doubts is also inappropriate because maybe some kids will become enlightened? How about the responses of the panel members (Rabbis Aisenstark, Kaminetzky, and Neuberger) which shed light on many important problems?
There are very few THINKING people who make it through life without hashkafic questions. If you insist that a hashkafic questions automatically puts one into the category of apikorus all you’ll accomplish is, when the questions come up they won’t be asked. A question that goes unanswered grows roots and causes much more damage.
Hopefully, the serial highlights and glorifies the people who work with at-risk people who are unafraid of questions. Almost every city has a person like that.
