Does anyone hold it’s a mitzvah to be mevatel tefilla betzibbur, bentchig, and zman krias shema, even on Purim? I have yet to see a source who holds that.
I have a relative who was in a Nevorodok yeshiva in Poland in his youth. He said they banned drinking there on Purim.
