I agree 100% that the Choson should wear a nice suit, sparkling white kittel, white on white shirt etc. The Kallah as well should wear a beautiful white flowing gown (we can talk about that by the Wedding Gowns thread [which I didn’t go to]), pretty jewelry, makeup etc. etc. etc.
But the tie? No one, not even the Kallah, will see the tie. Get a very nice white tie that you can buy for $2-$10 dollars.
