Ran in a 5k this sunday. Entering races is my big motivator.
Ashreinu, you’re 100% correct! Writing down the foods I ate helped start me off on eating healthy.
Food wise, I’m eating around 2,500-3,000 calories, depending on my activity level for that day. 50grams of protein, 30grams of fiber, tons of veggies and fruits, a multi vitamin, 8+ cups of water, and cheese products. I also allow a cheat meal a week, and a small piece of extra dark chocolate at night. I mess up sometimes, but I just pick myself off, and get right back on the wagon as if nothing ever happened.
What does everyone’s exercise regimen consist of?
I upped my running mileage to 25-35 miles a week depending on if I do a long run that week.
I do all different types of push ups, chin ups, bicycle crunches, leg lifts, lunges, squats, yoga, tai chi, and karate (I don’t do all these things every day, I alternate). Oh yeah, and the best exercise of all, running around with the baby!
