sorry-had to work today! in answer to pashute yid- actually i meant that it may very well be “mechabeh”- although-if i remember well- i took the opposite view last summer and argued that it is not mechabeh. the point of the argument was that to minimize light is directly is also “mechabeh”. i am pretty sure it was discussed at length and someone may find the thread.
