You are mistaken. The Steipler’s letter, although it is related to this issue, has NOTHING to do with Ger nor does it mention or address Ger. (And there is no letter from the Steipler discussing Ger on this issue. That is the only letter, despite the drivel posted on some blogs trying to tie that letter into Ger.)
