Before this happens again please see your PCP, and if necessary, he/she will refer you to a specialist. There are new treatments available all the time. Please never exceed the recommended dose of any medication, particularly an NSAID. As a former ER nurse, I can tell you that I often saw the adverse effects of NSAID abuse – exceeding the dose is abuse. Please, please see your doc.
