Reply To: Which Seminaries are known for focusing more on Hashkafa?

WIY – my daughter went to a seminary not particularly emphasizing hashkafa yet, she told her brother she is not interested in a boy who went to a particular yeshiva simply because everyone does. While I know that in this “boys market” girls cant be picky, I would like to know why girls have to justify their choice of seminary which really doesn’t reflect who they are or what they believe, practice or understand, but boys don’t. I’d like to see you define a “Lakewood” boy. My daughter made a serious decision about which seminary to go to that had nothing to do with where “the best girls go”, I hope her chosson will have done the same.
