Granted. But that would mean you have kids that are in the 35-45 y/o range. I have no problem if someone pays someone else to shovel their snow (or mow their lawn, or wash the car). But the prevailing attitude in BP (and I live there, so I see it every time it snows) is, its not MY JOB AND I WON’T DO IT.

Know what? If you live in a house, take care of it. I can see the occasional exception, but cross the board?

Gimme a break. I see bochurim play a mean (and I mean MEAN) game of b-ball, so there is no reason they cannot be asked to do some physical work. OK, the sidewalk, maybe that can’t wait. But the driveway? The car? That’s not an emergency, and can (and should) be done by an able-bodied male (or female, but I don’t want to be accused of sabotaging a shidduch, so I’l staying away from that angle).
