A week should be plenty time for both parties. I know of a girl who had a situation recently where the boy did not get back to the shadchan for two months. I feel that in such a case, any other shidduch coming her way in the interim, should be fair game to be made. A guy who can’t get his act together even to say “not interested” after a period of several weeks, is clearly single for a reason.
