That’s what we learned in halacha.
Just proves you can’t trust everything you hear. Look it up for yourself.
Can I assume you are a girl? A boy (generally) would not be taught “THIS IS THE HALACHA” without a source.
Also, Yichud with a non-jew (which Rov says you can assume) is a Gezairah of the Tannaim, not a Lav. Even a NIddah Yisraelis is questionable.
