‘We’, have less blood on our hands , a cleaner track record (per centage wise, ofcourse) than the other nations of the world.
Ofcourse we have to strive to be better.

In fact, its written in Sefer Iyov, that Hashem will never hold it against us if we are angry at Him for any tragedy that might befall us.
