Just another reason I’m glad we don’t live in Brooklyn. R’Moshe said our eruv is kosher. There’s a phone number to check on its status erev Shabbos (and with this year’s weird weather, that’s been necessary – after all, we’re talking about thin wires). When in Brooklyn for Shabbos, we do not use the eruv.
