Maybe this belongs here, maybe in the other one.
I read once about a principal (forgot who), whose secretary would every day bring to him something to eat for breakfast. One morning he pushed it aside. He told the startled secretary the following: There’s a din about the sanhedrin when contemplating a case regarding capital punishment, they push it off untill the next day, reviewing and reexamining the whole night. The next day they do not eat until they render judgment. Said he, to his secretary, today he’d be expelling a boy from his Yeshiva, he realizes this is a capital punishment (???? ?????) issue, therefore he is not permitted to eat! When one goes forth with such an attitude, things are seen and measured entirely different!
