Daas Yochid I know you are being sarcastic, but… I know from personal experience with my kids who go to both by’s and yeshivahs when we spoke to the rebbeim and principals about taking what they call “mental days, they were all for it. Afew even said one day a month. I don’t know if i agree with that but we choose very carefully and it has to be if the child really needs it and it is a worthwhile activity or occasion. And then I had one R”Hayeshiva say that my son could not help me while I was sitting shiva for my father z”tl while rest of family went to work or school.He is the only one that drives. He was indespensible to me and my mother. I was glad I didn’t listen it would have been much harder on us both.He didn’t say anything after all was said and done
