Try hotels in the 9th and 4th arrondissments or districts. The 9th is also known as the Opera district and the 4th, the Marais.
The 9th has many kosher places around rue Richer, and has a few shuls right around there – the main, grand synagogue is on rue de la Victoire around 5-10 min walk.
The 4th’s kosher places center around rue des Rosiers.
My wife and I just came back from Paris a few weeks ago; we had a great time. We stayed right around the corner from rue Richer in the 9th on a street called rue Geoffroy Marie.
We did eat by chabad, but chabad is on the Champs Elysees, a 45 minute walk. Is that the chabad you’re referring to?
