I’m not sure how to reconcile the two statements.
We may not understand it, but it’s a fact that many people do care what actors say, that fame itself does grant some power.
There have been documented violent incidents where the perpetrators claimed that they were mimicking movie scenes.
Some scenes are incorporated to mimic real life and vice versa.
