I was a student in my fathers class and it was a horrifying year most of it i have blocked out but one moment i remember like it just happened i was reading a pasuk and i stumbled over a letter and he said look he doesnt even know the aleph bais to say i was mortified is an understatement i was used to hearing my father denigrating me at home but to do so in front of my peers left an indelible mark on me.
