Go to Seminary in Israel is ALOT differnet than going to Seminary in say Cooperstown (Eurphimism for any sleepaway , but somewhat local school)
If someone went to seminary in Cooperstown and felt homesick, they could come home for Shabbos, You cannot come home for shabbos in Israel.
