Sorry you had to experience abuse. I hope you’ve been able to successfully take steps to heal.
Your experience and others’ will hopefully allow our community to realize that abuse is not as rare as we might like to think.
When you mention getting help via chat rooms, do you feel that victims are more unlikely to confess their challenge in real life?
Something definitely needs to be done.
Do you have any suggestions? Do you feel it could have been/be prevented? Do you think some victims hide what’s really occurring behind closed doors?
