I had the same first response when I heard that so many terrorists would be freed but I know that in working on my emunas Hashem I have learned that there will not be one more terrorist attack than Hashem deems necessary regardless of how many terrosrists are freed. Our fate is in His hands only and we need to internalize that. One terrorist can do much harm, ch”v, or a thousand can do none. Whether I would have agreed with the deal or not, I will pray for Gilad’s safe return and have faith that Hashem will keep our streets safe, which He can do regardless how ‘crowded’ it is, should we be zoche.
