I second ZeesKite: it’s a nice way of greeting people with deference to Shabbos. Plus, you can even say “Good Shabbos” to people you don’t know – what a way to bring achdus to Klal Yisroel! (Unless, of course, you’re from Borough Park – then it’s just a way of broadcasting that you are a nut.)
