may i quote brian regan: “He’s a hero, who don’t even say he’s a hero, what a HERO!” he was referring of course to Captain Sullenberger who flew that plane a few years ago into the Hudson. remember? how could you forget! this is the “googled” def of a hero:
A person, typically a man, who is admired for courage or noble qualities.
The chief male (nuuuu, why not female??) character in a book, play, or movie, who is typically identified with good qualities.
yeah, but you know what? If you can be the best mother, daughter, husband, friend, or eved hashem you can be, you are a hero. every time you hold back that nasty retort, you have done something heroic. What about that bit of lashon hara you held back from saying?
Heroism needn’t be something well publicized. every day, in your life do something HEROIC!
