BTguy: There is a book which refutes the idea that the hippie 60’s was really responsible for a number of the positives that you mention, Closing of the American Mind by A. Bloom. But the possibility of widening ones horizons and ideas is certainly a good thing ESPECIALLY for the majority of non frum Jews to consider the error of their ways.
