I was gonna say sinus too, I get that alot. Especially if you feel pain when you tap your face bones (not a technical term). But I would not feel comfortable not confirming it with a doctor.
Also – “considering the weather where I am is 30 one day 70 the next.” Is there any more obvious way of saying you live in Chicago?
