Has the Rabbanut stopped the sale of Nestles, Hersheys, Toblerone and other non chalav yisrael products in these same stores as well? Why was Haagen Dasz sold up until this point in time? Is this a new standard being taken on by the Rabbanut? Has Haagen Dasz Ice Cream imported into Israel changed its point of origin?
Lastly, in reading the hebrew notice posted above, the following term is mentioned regarding the ice cream – “???? ???”?”. As opposed to say an Asian or Indian ???”?? What does the term mean?
