Moi, no, I’m not employed by YWN, I’m actually quite new to this beautiful heimish “real yiddish” news site, what gets me to be so supportive and loyal to YWN is very simple;
I’ve recently emigrated to Yeshiva World from a different “so called” famous/infamous yiddish news site, with such a tense atmosphere, I couldn’t take it anymore, always siding with the most leftist minds and comments, provocative hateful headlines, appears they have sort of a “vacuum hose” with an extended antenna that sucks in all dirt and filth onto their site, every loshon hora on a yid in the world, with some basis or totally baseless would appear on that site with inciting nasty headings, positive news on observant yidden would hardly find the place there, they would host the most controversial op-eds and provocative editorials, as long as it can please the far leftists, the moderators are mean and partial, I’d actually extend the term to “bigotic”, with not too much sense or judgment, manipulating comments and posts, and lately they were so flooded with old time apikorsim with crooked minds posting their hashkafa in the comments there and preaching their hate on religious observant yidden and mocking the Torah, even non yidden are very welcomed there with their twisted ideas on yiddishkeit and yidden, and the silly or hateful comments are gladly being posted there, vs. very many of ehrliche comments are ignored or removed discriminately. basically a ehrliche yid or his post is not welcomed there.
Some of my friends laughed at me why I would just waste my time on that torah hating site that they dumped long ago, “just move over to YWN, an awesome and appealing site, with much more than just news”, I accepted the advice, and this is exactly what I did, and I’m glad I did..
So stepping in here I was just delighted, seeing heimishe sensible posts, balanced news reports, sitting in the warm coffee room over a hot cup of coffee while chatting and airing out any issue or subject in a normal friendly atmosphere.
