frumnotyeshivish -I disagree with you. They don’t phrase it the way they researched it because they want the population to get someting out of the research. Just saying one out of this or that -doesn’t mean anything to most people. Most people aren’t even college educated. So they phrase it in a way everybody can understand. Saying 20X more likely -people will say -“Ooh, maybe I shouldn’t smoke because a lot more smokers get lung cancer than Non-smokers”!
