BT: Their point is that the boys side will simply refuse to pay. And since the boys hold all the cards, they can refuse to pay and you can’t do anything about it. Since the girls need the boys more than the boys need the girls. The boy can always find another girl, whereas (due to supply and demand) the girl will not always be able to find another boy. Since there aren’t enough boys for all the girls.
