Does anyone know a word that would describe a person as being either money-hungry, greedy,materialistic, obssessed with money,or a gold-digger? It possibly begins with the letter “c.” There is no L”H involved with this, it has nothing to do with any people living or dead, I was just trying to think of that word, in response to someone’s question today. They had asked what I think is one of society’s great ills, and I felt that the obssession with money and achieving materialistic goals by any and all means, was a biggie. But I think there is a name for that type of pursuit. I wanted to answer, “Some people are too….” and then I could not think of the word. (Note: The word is NOT “Chazzerish.”)
