Reply To: Cell Phone Call Back Etiquitte

I actually get annoyed when people leave a message saying “hi, its plony, call me”. If would be helpful if they would say in the message what the call is about, it might even save time when I do call them back because I can have information ready for them. Also, if it is just “call me” or some other short message I would much rather that people text me than leave a message because sometimes listening to voicemail can be hard such as if I’m in a place where it’s hard to hear or where it would be rude to listen to a message (more rude than checking texts under the table)
