When a woman “dresses up”she wants to feel “special”. Her being/feeling special is diminished if there are others who either look like carbon copies of her, or may actually wear an outfit better than her (people might compare the look on the two of them. Imagine an architect building this amazing small scale model of a fabulous building, something he expects will wow others. He then walks into the room and finds an exact duplicate of his project right in front of him!
