Drinking age in EY is 18 I believe. When I was there at that time I was 17 and became 18 but it was not enforced by police; it was only expulsion from my ulpan program that kept me from buying the stuff. I heard that especially because of the influx of immigrants from this vodka soaked region that the drinking law now is enforced, but really I don’t know.
