Confucious, exactly. If it is the kallah walking down with the mothers then my reasons wouldn’t apply unless you say “kallah domeh l’malka” (I don’t know either way whether we say this so I won’t comment either way). There is also ZK’s point that she is on her way to a mitzvah so you should stand for that.
Either way, I don’t think there is anything wrong with standing for the kallah (as long as you aren’t doing it to get a better look) but I also don’t know whether there is a chiyuv.
