littleema: First of all, I started this thread to get advice and encouragement… Secondly, it is true that reading specialists and therapists can eventually make their own hours and you are right that at the beginning they have to work much harder. That is why many therapists and reading specialists start off in schools or other programs which take place during the day. And actually, I am looking into working in a school right now. However, I have not yet found a job. I was just wondering if anyone had any leads or ideas.
