Almost every kosher restaurant now has sushi. The pizza stores sell it. The non-Japanese steakhouses all have it. The supermarkets sell it and many people have sushi for shabbos night instead of gefilte fish. Our supermarket gives a good discount on Friday because sushi isn’t good even a day later in the fridge. And it’s not because of the fish-the rice gets hard.
