Sounds like somebody got your card number and name, I assume Chase has closed down that card and given you a new number now.
This can happen with all banks, not just Chase. I got a call last week from my bank – not Chase – about a suspicious online charge. After verifying that I didn’t make the charge, they closed my card and issued me a new one. I was actually impressed that they detected the random charge as fraud.
