If you follow the discussion and what he is saying I happen to agree. Maybe I wouldn’t use those exact words. The point that he was making is that a threat to our spirituality is many many many times worse than a threat to our physical well-being. If they kill us so be it we are dead, we die physically but live forever in olam habah with Hashem. Howver if they kill us spiritually and get us to chas veshalom renounce our religion then even if we are alive its as though we were dead and such a death is eternal death.
