I think it falls under my motorcycle heter though.
Popa’s Motorcycle Heter:
The tayna: Why should I have to wait an hour, if all of you can just wait an extra 30 seconds and let me go first?
The teretz: Because then all of us have the same tayna, and therefore it makes more sense that we should all just wait in line.
The Motorcyle: But I can cut through between the lanes, whereas none of you can. So the teretz doesn’t work. So Popa holds it is not rude for motorcycles to cut between the lanes in traffic, even though we will all wait an extra 15 seconds when he gets to the front. Because I won’t deprive him of saving an hour for my stupid 15 seconds.
Applications:
Riding the shoulder (most people not willing to, because afraid of ticket).
Cutting around traffic (because most people not willing to because afraid they’ll have hard time getting in).
I will so cut you all off. Just you watch out for me flying down on the left side towards the battery tunnel and then jumping in right when it splits to go towards the brooklyn bridge.
