Grow up Already: I did not say that adherence to halacha is “ludicrous”. Please don’t misrepresent my posts. I said that “the uncompromising stand of the chareidim” is ludicrous. And I illusrated it by showing how extreme some of these positions are. Lastly, What do you mean by “halacha” is uncompromising? No attempt to be “meikel”? (koach de-hetira odif) No attempt to have a “pshoro” (compromise)? No attempt to find a way that thr tsibbur can live with something? (“gezeirah sh’eim hatsibbur jochoim la-amod bo).
