Believing that there are shortcuts to spirituality or “cleansing” from sins is ludicrous. Read the Rambam Hilchos Teshuvah for how to do that. (Maybe also skip Perek 3 Halacha 7 where he says that what you believe about going to R’ Nachman’s kever is probably grounds for losing one’s portion in Olam Haba.)
