One of my nephews started out in Yeshivah HaKotel and then he switched over to Bais Yisroel, which is in Neve Yaakov. Laherfeld is the Rosh Yeshiva as far as I know. He was there for about two years and did go to Mir after he got married and stayed on for another year or so. It’s a regular black/white yeshivah from what I could tell.
