The best traps are the sticky pads as they’re not dangerous (though a pain to remove if it gets stuck to something or someone). Find a few ground-level places that’s not accessible to humans (or box it in) like under your bed, under kitchen units and wait. Probably more effective if you include some food that mice like but don’t forget pesach is coming.
