If someone is travelling back and forth between Eretz Yisroel and chutz la’aretz during the period where EY began saying ??? ?? ???? while chutz has not yet changed, does the person change back and forth to saying it according to the place he currently is in?
I did this last year and this year. I live I chutz la’aretz and traveled to EY after they changed but before we did. I was told to say v’sein bracha but add v’sein tal umatar in shma koleinu.
I live in EY and say ??? ?? ???? when I’m abroad even though locally they have started yet
I came back this year from Eretz Yisroel during merCheshvon, after they had already commenced requesting veSein Tal uMotor. Needless to say, I commenced requesting vSein Tal uMotor in Birkas haShonim, on marCheshvon 7th whilst in Israel not to be Poreish min haTzibur who is in dire need of rain.
Once I had commenced, the next Halocho of “Ein Mafsikin” comes into play, so I have continued ever since my return from Eretz Yisroel to Chutz lo’Oretz to request veSein Tal uMotor in Birkas haShonim.
BTW:- It is a wonderful idea for all of us to keep going to Eretz Yisroel and showing solidarity with our Brethren in Eretz Yisroel. I cannot recommend it highly enough, it is so wonderful.
